Nikon’s New 28-300mm and 200mm Lens
Nikon has recently unveiled two new lenses, the Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S Nikkor zoom lens and the Nikon 200mm f/2G AF-S ED VR II Nikkor telephoto lens. The former, priced at $1149.00, is targeted at the average consumer while the latter, listed at $5999.95, is targeted at the professional photographer. Both offer features such as Vibration Reduction (VR II), Extra-low Dispersion elements and a special coating treatment to improve light transmission, color consistency, and resistance to flare.

Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S
An ideal one-lens solution for FX-format D-SLRs, the Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S features a broad 10.7x zoom range and a close focus to 18 inches at every focal length. Furthermore, the VR II image stabilization technology allows the user to perform handheld shooting at up to 4 shutter speeds slower than would otherwise be impossible. Dramatically sharper still images and stable video capture are assured with the purchase of this lens.

Nikon 200mm f/2G AF-S ED VR II
An exciting update to the NIKKOR line is the new AF-S 200mm f/2G lens, the amazingly fast f/2 telephoto lens employs Nikon’s VRII image stabilization system, providing up to 4 stops of correction to assist in creating blur-free images during hand-held shooting or D-Movie video-taking. The additional Nano Crystal Coat optical coating feature minimizes internal and external flare, further ensuring the sharpness of the images.
